Matthew Brown’s career has always been at the point of execution in the US Capital Markets.    He would begin his career on the Boston Stock Exchange in Surveillance and ITS.   He then became employed at Herzog Heine Geduld as a Listed Floor Broker on the Boston Stock Exchange Floor.   Mr. Brown then focused on technology driven solutions for the US Capital Markets beginning at NYFIX where he pioneered the first ATS, NYFIX Millennium, and the development of one of the Industry’s first distributive FIX Networks connecting the Buyside to Broker Dealers and all the Market Centers.   From there he would go on to work for US Trust Piper Jaffray on their Algorithmic and Program Trading desk servicing both Broker Dealers and Institutional clients implementing a host of technology driven execution solutions.   Finally, Mr. Brown would start the Overnight Trading Desk at tZero ATS which would evolve into the Blue Ocean ATS.
